The fabric is personally sourced directly from Japan. Each bag is individually handmade by me in the UK using Japanese-made No. 11 cotton canvas, a medium-weight canvas that offers a lovely balance of strength, structure and everyday practicality.

Generously sized at approximately 40 × 40 cm, the tote has a simple flat design without a gusset. The approximately 56 cm handles make it easy to carry by hand or over the shoulder.

As each bag is handmade, slight variations in stitching and pattern placement may occur. These small differences are part of the charm and individual character of each bag.

Care Instructions

The canvas fabric can be washed if necessary. However, due to the rich colours of the printed fabric, gentle hand washing in cool water is recommended to help minimise fading or colour transfer.

Please wash separately, do not soak for long periods, and allow to air dry naturally. Avoid tumble drying and bleach.
